They can be opened to view the railway, the beautiful mountains, & points south (you can see Palace Station and the Palms from this side), or on the other side, which provides views of the freeway (which actually helps if you're planning to go on it, a heads up on traffic is always a good thing), more mountains, & points north.

4. I got a room on the 11th floor on the freeway side so I got some freeway noise while trying to sleep, but this was nothing compared to the other type of noise while staying at the Flamingo a few days after I checked out here.

5. If you are a light sleeper, beware as the hotel does back on to the Railroad and the nearby freeway can be heard in some rooms.
