3. it is situated next to the highway but the exits are so confusing (or my Garmin device was confused) that I kept driving by the hotel on the elevated portion of the road only to have to get off at the next exit and do a loop around.

4. My room faced the highway and, had I not had ear plugs, it would have been difficult to get any sleep.

6. All in all a pleasant experience, but my major complaint is location - due the location on an acess road at a point where multiple highways meet, it is extremely difficult to get to and from this hotel without confusing loop arounds and crossovers.

7. And yes, it`s a good idea to ask for a room away from the highway, as it is in any hotel located on a highway, if you are sensitive to those things.
