8. Our reservation was for a king smoking room with a balcony, 800 reservations confirmed, we got to the hotel and they checked us into a non-smoking double, back down to the front desk, given a room that was marked non-smoking, apparently their 800 number doesn't know that smoking rooms weren't available in Austin~~we went from the 9th floor to the 2nd (because we complained?) and found that the 'balcony' is barly wide enough to stand on, no chairs, the bed was hard as a rock (so much for Sleep Number beds they advertise), restaurant food was passable but can you believe the drinks the bartender made were terrible, they guy just couldn't get three separate drinks correct~~we wake up (if we slept at all on that horrible bed) at 7:00am to the sound of a Trailway Bus parked under the entrance, running for at least 2 hours, okay, we understood that kinda but when we went to make coffee in room, there's no coffee pot~~called down to ask for one and at 10:00am, still no coffee pot, that's when we decided to check out and go somewhere else.
