No Eatery in walking district only the Exxon Station thank goodness sold beer and got a cold sandwich for

So after tipping $10 for the shuttle rides, I got a good
dinner
out, but learned the hard way that this hotel does not provide
dinner
service on weekends.

On this Sunday night stay, I got organized and went to the lobby for
dinner
around 5:30( I think it usually opens at 5:00 p.m.) I stopped at the front desk to request a wake-up call and asked if the restaurant would be opening momentarily.

Bottom line, the shuttle driver took me further than the mile to Texas Land & Cattle where I enjoyed a fine steak

, and picked me up when I called 1 1/2 hrs.

However, the bar offers a

menu during the week (very reasonable) and there is a service (can order online) that delivers food from restaurants.
