Yes my husband did yell back as we were leaving that he would talk to his manager and he hoped he gets fired, at which this young man yelled back 'Me too!'Customer relations told us today via phone that they will refund our money for the cheaper, but not `comparable` hotel we ended up staying at that night, which we thought was kind of them.
