When I presented the voucher to Brian (a clerk who looked half a sleep,Days Inn shirt wrinkled and pulled out of his pants and completely unbuttoned) he said 'youshould have called this hotel for any lower
rate
that is the way we do it'.

If the individual owners are going to dictate policy over Days Inn I am taking my self to a more customer friendly hotel chain that when a
rate
is given by the reservationist with a comformation number it is honored, not over ruled by the GM (Rohan) or his sullen, slovenly desk clerk.
