2. The proximity to the rental place (maybe 10 minutes walk) allows you to pick up and drop off your ride in the morning after arriving and in the evening before departing from ABQ, respectively, which might save you a day of car rental - for a GMC Yukon, that pays for one night.

3. If you have dogs, do be careful walking them in the rocky areas as there are some sandspurs, walk them by the basketball court where there is grass (that has nothing to do with the hotel, just the terrain there has plants that have spurs).
