7. When we went downstairs to ask for restaurant recommendations, the desk clerk said there was an IHOP or Denny's or some such restaurant, I forget which, right across the street.

8. The Village Inn on the street right in front of the hotel is a very pleasant place to eat, and the nearby Mexican restaurant (Little Anita`s?) is good, too.
