1. We were awakened every night to what sounded like the dumpster being wheeled out to the street for garbage pickup.

5. This hotel is located at the civic centre, you think this is a suitable part of San Francisco, in fact it is a very seedy part of the city, and we were advised not to walk the streets even in teh afternoon, and don't speak to any one (this was not the hotel staff).

6. On the brighter side, the staff is friendly, towels and sheets were clean,pretty good location (although you wouldn't want to walk down through Eddy Street full of homeless people), Parking (although limited),good bedding, coffee maker, hair dryer.

7. There is off-street parking available but it's on a first-come basis so if you roll in late plan on parking on the street.

8. I realize the area is crappy, and there are 'crazies' lining the street at night, but I come from a upscale neighborhood and I hold a graduate's degree.
