3. The hotel is located in soma on Harrison St ( an area with a lot of street people) and is about 10 minute walk to a major shopping areaThere are several decent restaurants near the hotel and the hotel is also a 5 min walk from the Folsom st gay bars.

4. The area is okay with clean residential areas surrounding the inn, but if you are female traveling alone like I was and getting off the BART at Powell street (the nearest exit) I highly suggest paying the $6.50 cab fare to arrive at the hotel safely.

5. I did have to wait for housekeeping to finish for a while, but it was fine as I just walked across the street to the am/pm market.

7. And if you want to go to Fisherman's Wharf, you shouldn't spend lots of money on a taxi, as there's a bus stop on the corner of Harrison Street and 6-th street and you can take a 47-bus to the most beautiful area of San Francisco.

9. Downtown San Francisco and Market Street were barely 10 minutes away and Makesh, on the front desk was consistently helpful and friendly and took a genuine interest in making sure we were enjoying our stay and, indeed our holiday.
