1. This place is the happy medium between upscale hotel, and the horrible overcrowded hostels you can stay in for 30 bucks a night in the area.

4. I will admit there are MUCH nicer hotels in the area but the Taylor has everything you need if you are on a budget.

I had the pleasure to interact with them and when i asked for reccomendations as to what to do in the city the provided some san francisco insider knowledge and i thoroughly enjoyed my self at the places they recommendedThe area was great and although it does border a rough neighborhood, I encountered no problems at all during any point in my stay here.

6. The taylor hotel is located in the greater downtown area, is within reasonable walking distance(4-5 blocks) of the commercial downtown area, and only 2 blocks from union square.
