1. Great for using to get downtown, but is a good 30 minute bus ride even at quiet times - expect 40-45 mins at peak times.

Even the most basic cosmetic improvements were ignored, including patched wallpaper in the ancient toilet, funky old rugs, bedspreads and a generally gloomy ambience, that for the nightly price of 175 dollars was absurd, considering the ready availability of cheaper, more modern and centrally located hotels downtown.

10. I was able to catch the Geary 38L bus and go directly to Union Square without having to think about where to park my car downtown.
