3. There is valet parking for 40 dollars or so, but they park your car in the garage across the street so I recommend the self parking there, it's cheaper and faster because it can take more than half an hour for them to get you car.

5. Plenty of restaurants in the area - I tried Dojima-Ann for dinner, a Japanese place around the corner and the Pinecrest Diner across the street for breakfast, both reasonable - and 2 Starbucks also right around the corner, and Walgreens seemingly everywhere for picking up water and snacks.

8. If you like Indian/Pakistani food, I recommend Chutney's on Jones Street, about two blocks from the hotel.

9. I really did want to rave about this little hotel, i really did, it is in a good location, a safe location with an awesome irish bar across the street, the bar downstairs in our own hotel was only open for three or four hours and not one time in three days were we in while it was open.

10. On an anecdotal note, I was surprised by the seemingly large homeless population in San Francisco & there's some panhandling going on in the streets however, I don't think it should reflect badly on the hotel.
