7. Go to Johns Grill for steak, Aliotos for a seafood dinner to watch the sun setting over the Golden gate bridge, The Waterfront restaurant has a wonderful vista, hire bikes and cycle over the bridge whatever your age.

9. Plenty of restaurants in the area - I tried Dojima-Ann for dinner, a Japanese place around the corner and the Pinecrest Diner across the street for breakfast, both reasonable - and 2 Starbucks also right around the corner, and Walgreens seemingly everywhere for picking up water and snacks.
