3. A buffet dinner, a reception as well as a banquet were all hosted by this hotel, so we had ample opportunity to not only sample the cooking but also the hospitality shown to an older crowd (Vietnam era vets and earlier).

5. When we were leaving for dinner, I overhead them telling someone that was not staying at the Doubletree that they had call no less than 10 hotels in the area but all were full.
