5. Arrived very early and whilst room not ready allowed to check in and offerred a call when room was ready (but as only had a UK mobile phone it would have cost me so declined the offer) - and was going to the Baseball so would be back by the 4pm checkin time.

9. To get a great view of the city at a fraction of the cost of the Space Needle, go to to the observation deck of the Columbia Building (5th and Columbia)(about 5 blocks from the Crowne Plaze).

10. Cost is just $5 and the view is significantly better than the Needle and also enables you to see the Needle instead of the view from it.
