2. Went to McDonald's to get online with our laptop and found another motel 'The Kauai Inn' It cost us another $140.00 for a nice clean well maintained room with a wonderful view and nice continental breakfast.

3. If you are looking for spa facilities and amazing terrace views, then this would not be my recommendation but please bear in mind that Kauai has amazing views pretty much wherever you look so paying a large premium to have one from your room is one not worth paying in my opinion, most places are two and three times the price and really not worth paying for somewhere that you are using to sleep most of the time.

4. Of course this is not a luxury resort hotel, no ocean view but helpful and friendly staff are more than the ocean view.
