There was a brand new wooden sundeck on the roof and a small

and pool in the courtyard.

patio
area around the pool was swept, but needed a good scrubbing, and flooded considerably when it rained (no drains) and it was our only way in and out.

Having to leapfrog around a flooded

and the pool in a vain attempt to get out with dry feet was both absurd and potentially dangerous.

What did it for me was, the day before I was to leave, I went to the roof

to take the last few pictures in my camera of the skyscrapers.

which was full of table top glass and old fake plants covered on dust .
