2. There's a bar/club on the ground floor, so sometimes there are random drunk people wandering around; I'm a single female and my dad (who stayed with me for a few days) was concerned about my safety, but I was never hassled.

6. The room is exceptionally quiet, any bar noise is at the other end of the hotel in the suites overlooking Banyan Drive not at the end overlooking the Hilo harbour and pool area.
