1. Our carpeting was a nice 1970's ocean blue shag; the beds were not meant to imitate boutique hotel comfort and the bathroom needed updating.

5. Great room in the tower building with a wonderful ocean view ( called the reservation line before I booked and said we wanted a quiet room and they made a recommendation.

The location is great - right next to the Trolley that takes you to shopping malls - upstairs from a DELICIOUS restaurant (Tante's) with great waitresses - beautiful deck overlooking the ocean - above the strip (step downstairs to a nice walk along the beach with hundreds of shops and restaurants).

7. There are two nice pools at this hotel and it looks over the ocean, our room was really big and had a lovely garden area.

9. All staff members were very gracious and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, it had a very nice ocean view, and the A/C and everything else worked (except the pay-if-you use-it wifi; it varies with location in the hotel).
