The gardens were beautiful, the
ocean
just a few steps away, and the nightly music, aaaahhhh, to sit in your room or on the Lanai and listen to live music every night for two hours, and know that you are getting a great deal.

Don't pay for
ocean
view unless you REALLY need to see the
ocean
out of your room.

Our room overlooked the nightly luau, and even though we were told we wouldn't have a view of the
ocean
when we upgraded to a junior suite, we were very pleasently surprised to sweep open the curtains on the lanai to see the
ocean
over the trees of the peaceful gardens leading down to the
ocean
.
