Things that impressed us included: welcome buffet breakfast and songs by staff; daily buffet breakfasts; really good advice on how to get around on Maui; the convenient parking garage; our room and its lanai; the Tiki Bar and the nightly musicians; whale tails visible from the beach; the beach itself and the beach walking path; how we were treated by phone when making reservations; our greeting upon arrival and our special departure with kokui nut leis.
