The Coconut Market which is right across the
street
from the hotel is a great place to get Good food and was reasonably priced.

The Coconut Market Place right across the
street
and the Tradewinds Bar or Tres was fun and great entainment and there's no driving if you have some Mia Tias.

I highly recommend Kalapaki Joes in Lihue (near Kalapaki Bay), The Hukilau Lanai at the Kauai Coast Resort next door to the Islander, and the Fish Hut (fast food but very good) at the Coconut Marketplace across the
street
.
