1. One thing that's out of the ordinary is that this hotel is pet friendly, for a fee of course.

6. The front desk clerk who checked me in was only interested in getting me 'upgraded' to a 'luxury room' with 'only' $20/night additional fee.

7. Valet fees are a required 30 dollars a day, but they still will expect a tip so be prepared to shell out a little extra cash during your stay.

8. Some of the issues included: relatively sterile front desk help, room was not vacuumed (fingernail clippings left on the floor), rather pedestrian room decor and fixtures, room was only stocked with a half roll of toilet paper (we had to call down for more, and no back up was ever brought during cleaning - we ran out again), only 2 towels stocked for a double room, door service was lacking (most of the staff was just standing around and even let me spill a coffee on myself trying to open the front door of the hotel with my arms full - no assistance), and nearly a $10.00 fee to print 2 tickets to a ballgame in the lobby.
"Not a great Kimpton - The attention to detail seemed to be lacking " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/22/2010 Vote
9. My only complaint is that the hotel charges a fairly stiff fee to use the lobby computer--a service which is usually free in most hotels, including virtually all less expensive hotels where I've stayed.
"Another great experience " Read full review on Expedia   7/6/2010 Vote
10. Your wi-fi fee is waived if you've signed up and that is reason alone to do it.
"Exceptional - sytlish, clean, professional, well located. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/9/2010 Vote
