1. The beds were comfortable enough, bathrooms clean, and the kitchenette saved money on food and as a bonus there was a supermarket across the street.

Pros: Inexpensive, centrally located, nice customer service, quiet on top floorCons: Non-smoking room reeked of smoke (but Crossland did warn on its website that it cannot guarantee non-smoking room), bed is really hard, very small room & TV, stairs and elevator has a dirty, industrial feel, no chair to sit in to read or watch TV, not even anyplace in the bathroom to set your toiletries bag.
