1. The hotel is ideally located and within walking distance to all amenities.

2. The hotel was affordable and clean although it didn't have the amenities of other hotels such as being directly on the beach etc. I was surprised to see that there was a refridge and microwave which is not standard in some of the upscale hotels.

3. However, you're in South Beach and you're not going to spend much time in your hotel anyway - so if you have a thin budget and can stand an almost total lack of amenities, San Juan is a good choice.
