However, when I checked in (VERY nice & helpful
front desk
!), went up to my room, took a look around and, much to my surprise, I had been upgraded to not only an ocean view room but had a full view of Molokai as well.

When I called the
front desk
to ask for a different room I was told all 'owner upgraded units' were booked and a room would not be available until the following day 2pm.

I was reluctant to look in the bdrms before I called the
front desk
but did anyway only to find a potent, acidic smell in the bthrm, dirty walls & stained bathtub & sink.

seemed unphased by our dissatisfaction with our room & didn't offer to comp us anything for our inconvenience, not even an apology was extended.
