1. However, a lot of local restaurants deliver : we had Thai food delivered right to our room, which was VERY convenient.

3. While the area is not one I'd walk around in a lot at night (not scenic, mostly safe) we had no problem walking over to the Persian restaurant, called Pers in the little strip mall right around the corner.

4. But if you want any nice restaurants or shopping you either need a car or line up the hotel's shuttle.

The hotel looks a bit dated and the lifts (elevators) a bit pedestrian , but the room was spacious, clean and quiet - there was also free WiFi and free parking (handy when I rented a car the next day)There is 7/11 and a few shops and restaurants just around the corner and conveniently, the local Hertz office is just 5 minutes walk away (yes, walking - I hope I didn't offend the natives.
