A new flat screen TV was mounted on the wall but it and the
cable
box were plugged into the only 3-pronged outlet in the room (another 3-prong was in the bathroom and the rest of the outlets were 2-prong).

In order to plug in my laptop in (after the battery was drained) in the bedroom, I had to unplug either the TV or the
Cable
box and hence no TV and computer together.
