As we were on a business trip, I needed to do some work at the hotel; There weren't any problems with noise even though there is a ballroom and lounge on the first floor, and for a hotel decorated like it is still the year it was built, 1927, it was nice to have a modern convenience like wireless internet.

Cons: NOISE, could only get a rare wisp of disappearing wifi in my room or any common area and got no real help about this from desk staff, there are no regular hotel 'black-out' curtains (light floods in in the early a.m.) hot water was non-existent in the sink & scalding in the shower, nasty dirty hallway carpets, no elevators, found some previous guest's old dirty shirt wadded up between the bedside table and the wall.

8. The wireless did not reach to my room during my stay, which meant I discovered the relaxing front porch, where I could sip coffee, check Facebook, and chat with folks passing by.
