1. Each one of the five employees I met was a jewel, and one of them actually took the time to tell me some of the Highland Inn's history and show me around the ballroom and meeting areas--a lovely destination if you want to plan a reception or party for a larger group.

As we were on a business trip, I needed to do some work at the hotel; There weren't any problems with noise even though there is a ballroom and lounge on the first floor, and for a hotel decorated like it is still the year it was built, 1927, it was nice to have a modern convenience like wireless internet.
