1. Since we had two young kids, spending our 7 hours at the pool sounded great.

4. I don't know when those renovations started but when I booked this hotel for the June 2008 trip I booked it several months prior to that trip and they had already started the renovations then and we are now September 2009 and they are STILL working on the pool.

5. Number two issue is it was very hot and my daughter wanted to go swimming but the pool area is still being renovated.

6. This is the 2nd time I have stayed in this hotel, first time was 20 years ago its really handy for the Airport of course but is good for Miami and buses for hire cars etcI had room service for dinner as I was worn out, the swimming pool was closed so don't expect to have a dip.

9. And either the pool was being repaired, or it no longer existed - I couldn't find anyone who knew anything about the pool other than I wasn't allowed in.
