1. The Maui Oceanfront Inn was the perfect place for us - clean, quiet, cheerful rooms, good service, friendly staff, and a bargain considering its perfect location on the beach at the very southern end of Kihei and within walking distance of Wailea.

4. There is ocean in front of the resort, but it is where the Hawaiians used to raise fish in ponds and is too shallow for swimming, but great for walks, runs, and beachcombing.
