1. Down the road we had great meals at Stella Blues Cafe, Fat Daddys BBQ and my husband thought the authentic Japanese restaurant Izakaya Matsu was the best food ever.

2. There are 4 or 5 bars not too far away, karaoke at Lifes a Beach was fun, definately a locals hangout, the Dog and Duck Irish Pub had decent food, Tiki Bar was talked up but we never saw very many people there.

3. You're on your own here with no restaurant or bar, no frills just a place to bathe, sleep, cook your own food, if you want and wash clothes.
