This nice family hotel is out of the city center in a quiet and nice area, and we have to change public transport only at once: it's only 10 minutes by
bus
to the closest underground station and the
bus
stop is right next to the hotel.

Also you can get a great gelato right outside the metro San Paulo station before you catch the
bus
home, for a much cheaper price than in Rome (always take
bus
766.

On the way back, take metro again, now it's towards Laurentina (blue line), and get off at San Paolo's metro station, and take
bus
766 again.

Then take
bus
766, and you must get off at Basilica San Paolo metro station (blue line), and from there, take the metro towards Rebbibia, but get off at the (Colosseum stop) which will take you to the heart of the city.

You must take two modes of transportation to get to the city from the hotel; but if you don't mind, this is what you need to do: you must buy a 1-way ticket prior to getting to the
bus
, which is also good for the metro; you can buy it at the reception, it costs one euro.
