At bedtime, when one is ready to escape from the doof-doof dance-grooves emanating from the cool court-yard pool bar, the double-glazed sliding doors of the boudoir balcony are brilliantly effective in shutting out the throbbing night-life as well as the roar of the daytime traffic in downtown Santa Monica.
