1. Alas, that didn't happen, but last year they did renovate the existing one---repainted the concrete; very nicely renovated the restroom/shower area; and tore down the concrete wall around the pool to open it up to the landscaping.

2. A real plus was giving us a room for an hour to shower and change in before our late flight home as we had to check out of our unit at 10:00 a.m.Thoughtful extras included real leis and chocolate macademia nuts upon arrival and macademia nut cookies when leaving.

3. ( rarely do I see timeshare units without walk in showers) The bathroom fixtures and chandeliers were old and rusty, bathrooms had no fans, some of the screen doors were falling off and you couldn't close them, and the tv's are old.
