1. It is within walking distance to the queens marketplace and kings shops, which have a variety of shops, restaurants, and the kings place even has a grocery store that has relatively decent prices (safeway is about 20 minutes south of the villas, past the airport).

2. Only disappointment was that the Waikoloa Beach Condos are larger and more luxurious and the Outrigger leaflet we picked up says they're the same price; I'd recommend trying them first.
