1. We watched our shuttle driver hand over used ones to another shuttle driver and as we were driving away watched him hand them to customers, yuk.

2. The walk to the beach is about 10min through Fort De Russy Park so can be a pain hauling chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards etc. The service was great, the valet can book your shuttles if you need to go anywhere and don't have a car.

4. It's a quick walk to almost everything you'd want to see in Waikiki and a short, inexpensive shuttle ride to everything else.

5. The lobby is nice, and people were friendly but: 1) there was food left in the refrigerator in the room 2) the bed wasn't very comfortable 3) we arranged at the bell captain desk for a morning shuttle to the airport--thank goodness I decided to change it to an hour earlier.
