1. The 1 bedroom suites are not true suites since there is no door, but the living and bed areas are separated by the bathroom and closet in between the two spaces.

2. the 2 are separated by a bathroom/closet area so you could sit quietly on the couch and read w/a dim light w/out too much light filtering back to the bed area, but still--it`s essentially one big room (the rooms are laid out in a straight line, living rm/bath/sleeparea).
