1. The first night we were facing Avenue of the Stars and it was beautiful view of the fountain and building across the street, however we were right about the cabbie line.

2. I had a room on a higher floor from where the complete LA valley was visible, fantastic views and a great location, right next to a shopping area and ample amount of restaurants.

4. If you have a room on the front of the hotel you get an excellent view of downtown LA.

5. The swimming pool is well tended and pretty big with good views over that part of LA: a pre-breakfast dip with the sun coming up and steam rising off the pool is definitely to be savoured.

7. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again but would choose to have a room at the back overlooking the pool, which is a little quieter and has better views.
