3. Extra fees to keep in mind: Refrigerator $5 a day, internet (if I remember correctly) was $5 an hour, fitness center $20 a visit, parking $32 a day, plus tipping valet every time you get your car and bring it back ($5 a pop), coffee maker was free but you could only use it with their coffee pods.
"Great Staff, Horrible Amenities that Cost a Small Fortune for Basics " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/26/2011 Vote
4. Aside from parking and internet fees this is a very elegant property and is recommended for business or leisure.
"Classy property and good location. Gouged for parking! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/20/2009 Vote
5. can walk around and do shopping there's also a movie theater, gelsons grocery store, very good restaurants- houstons, pink taco and my fav rock sugar- have rental car in hotel (can cab from airport & rent car as you need)-give free starbucks coffee coupon (for lobby starbucks)Cons:- no health club- have to pay for Equinox attached to hotel $20 (hotels this size & calibur should have a health club)- valet parking is a rip off but there's a parking lot a block away at 2040 century park east that is reasonable (monthly fee of $135- perhaps cheaper daily fees)- can get overcrowded during event nights (but sightseeing opportunity for stars- if you care about that)-They don't have Bravo on TV.
"They get it right!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/29/2009 Vote
6. Comfy chair with foot stool, desk with 2 (2!) chairs, bed with plenty of pillows of many sizes, good fee-based WiFi access (also an ethernet cable in the desk), many plugs for recharging cellphone and computer batteries, and nice, large bathroom with plenty of counter space and great traveler sample lotions and potions.
"VERY nice hotel - I'd happily stay here again " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/21/2009 Vote
7. Once we persuaded the concierge that we really did not want to hire a car and pay the exorbitant hotel parking fees he was very helpful in showing us how to walk to Rodeo Drive (10-15minutes away) where you can get a 45 minute tour of the stars homes on a tram for a fraction of the cost of the coach tours that collect you from the hotel.
"Impersonal but grows on you " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/30/2008 Vote
8. Biggest gripe is the 36.00 per day parking fee plus tips.
"Balcony is best part of hotel stay " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/28/2012 Vote
9. Examples including $9.95 internet fee, $36 parking fee (plus tips) and no free health club.
"Classic, Almost Historic by LA Standards - BUT $36 parking & $20 health club " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/21/2011 Vote
10. There were probably other fees, but that is what I remember.
"Great Staff, Horrible Amenities that Cost a Small Fortune for Basics " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/26/2011 Vote
