1. It (which by the way was perfect for us to use), the rooms are nice but a little dated, the pool is adequate but not amazing, the towels, for example, are not plush.

There are friendly staff who are happy to oblige with virtually anything; tolerant housekeepers (of us relaxing in our rooms until later on in the day) who keep the rooms clean, tidy and well stocked with clean towels and linen, some adding little personal finishing touches; free buffet breakfast; comfortable mattresses on the beds - great for a long lie.
