1. The bathroom was positively cavelike, and with one greenish fluorescent lamp over the sink, not the thing for a female business traveler who needs to be able to see while putting on her makeup.

I also noticed the clean towels didn't smell all that clean, plus the air freshener scent was overwheming, making me wonder whether they were covering up smoke or, worse, the sickness of the last person who stayed in the room and found a dirty, crusted, hairy washcloth greeting them in the bathroom.

7. There were a couple of water leaks in each bathroom, but placing a towel under them took care of the problem and did not affect our stay.
