The
kitchenette
must be from the 70s or so, the sofa horribly dated and worn and the hot water system did not work well in the evenings (had to wait ten minutes before the water was warm enough for a shower).

The rooms are large and comfortable but the carpets were worn, the
kitchenette
was about 30 years old, the bedskirts were hanging off, the sheets weren't clean and the mirrors were all covered in dust.

However:* The furnishings are cheap* The 'wet bar' is a crappy
kitchenette
that has been poorly converted into a half-ass mini-bar that is very ill-equipped.
"Key to why the ratings are so incongruous "
