s, the acclaimed Mother's restaurant (think Diners, Drive-ins and Dives) is down the block perfect for breakfast and John Besh's Restaurant August is also across the

for a wonderful French dinner.

Little kids and families on the side of the
street
, dressed up in carnival outfits with funny hats, adults (fully dressed) and enjoying themselves, high school and military bands, it was one of the best parades we've ever seen.

and the Quarter, the Windsor Court felt like a little oasis for us each time we entered the lobby.

from Harrah's if you like to gamble (we do) and right off Canal
street
, and it's a very short easy walk to the Quarter.

The people appreciate the tourism and the restaurants, Commander's Palace and NOLA, Pat O'Briens, Preservation Hall, Bourbon
Street
, and a tour recommended by the hotel outside French Quarter was such a special treat.
