1. Even though we had a room facing the airport we didn't find the noise overbearing (blended with the air con 'white noise') and the 'sleep number' king bed (you can adjust your side's firmness) was very comfortable.

5. But if you are a light sleeper you might want to ask for a room on the other side - which only faces a parking lot so at least the street noise might be a little less, though again I didn't hear anything.
