1. Our first room wasn't so good--room 502 overlooks the vents from the restaurant on the ground floor, with the associated grease odors and loud noises, and the sharp wire struck around the borders of the wall to keep the birds from landing on the building, along with some scraggly-looking potted arborvitae on the deck.

4. We were on the top floor, which was a wonderful bonus, but bring your earplugs, the night noise was pretty loud, especially after businesses closed on Saturday night (Sunday am).

9. However, I would recommend that you get a room that is not located right over the street as the noise from the street penetrates though the single pane windows.

10. One very small complaint worth mentioning is that 'Post Alley' can get a little rowdy on the weekends so light sleepers could have an issue with some late night/early morning noise if your visit is close to the weekend.
