4. We got a special deal where we got upgraded to an ocean view room, got a free rental car, and parking included so if such deals are available, I highly recommend it.

6. The hotel is right on the water, which makes for nice views and it was relaxing to open our balcony door and listen to the ocean at night after everyone had left the pool area, but the coast is rocky and you can't swim in the water.

9. We were upgraded free to ocean view on the end of Building 1 and loved the room, overlooking a little pond with ocean views (across the parking lot but you can shell out the big bucks for ocean front if you want, we saved a bunch paying about $120 a night).
