4. With the exception of a somewhat curt check-in clerk, all the personnel I encountered were notably upbeat, helpful, and terrific ambassadors for the Marriott brand in general and this property in particular.

5. With this terrific location in the refurbished center of town, convenient to transit, shopping, dining, and government buildings, the hotel should be trying to streamline outings, not complicate arrangements.

8. Also excellent are the Italian Deli on New York Ave a block away, Aviva in the Wilson Plaza by the old Post Office a few blocks south, and the terrific (and expensive) seafood restaurant Oceanaire about 1 1/2 blocks away.
